Lost In Hatteras Blog
I try to keep Lost In Hatteras very well updated with the latest windsurf and surf action from the island. I do this for a few reasons- First and foremost, I know how much you guys love Cape Hatteras, so I’m trying to give you a slice of the experience even though you may be thousands of miles away. I want you to be able to experience that vacation sensation, that familiar feeling of being “Lost In Hatteras,” anytime, anywhere!
Second- I think the archives are a great tool for prospective off-season vacationers. Sure, we’ve all got preconceptions about how it’s only windy here during the third week of April… But that couldn’t be further from the truth! Check out the June and July archives- If 80 degrees and SW at 20+ looks tempting, well hey, sign yourself up with the confidence of knowing how often it’s happened in the past. Of course, I do miss a lot sessions since I’m a hack at being a beach bum, so take the logs with a grain of salt, knowing that I may have missed a few days here and there!
